In season 2019/20 Banyule Cricket Club will again offer the greatest introductory cricket program for boys and girls aged 5-10

Woolworths Cricket Blast!

Woolworths Cricket Blast offers the following programs for boys and girls;

Junior Blasters (for ages 5-7)

Master Blasters (for ages 7-10)

Buzzing with the energy of big bash cricket, Woolworths Cricket Blast supports boys and girls in developing the basic skills of the game with a focus on making new friends in an encouraging and safe environment.


Come and join the fun at Banyule Cricket Club, Beverley Road Heidelberg from;

Saturday October 26th

9am-10am (Junior Blasters)

9am-10.30am (Master Blasters)

Woolworths Cricket Blast is the Official Kids Program of Cricket Australia.

Both Cricket Blast programs (Junior & Master Blasters) run every Saturday morning from October 26th until December 21st.

We break for 4-weeks over the Christmas period before resuming on February 1st 2020 and finally concluding on February 22rd, 2020.

 

 

Please note;

Junior Blasters sessions commence at 9.00am sharp and run until 10.00am.

Master Blaster sessions commence at 9am and run until 10.30am

PARENTS; PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY

 

We strongly recommend Master Blasters for any child under 10 years of age who has not previously participated in an organised cricket program. This policy has been developed with a child's safety and cricket development in mind.

 

 

 

Coaching and Umpiring

 

Our Cricket Blast program only operates thanks to the support of parents and volunteers.

 

On-field help with scoring, umpiring and coaching in our Skill Zone is always very welcome.

 

Cricket Australia are currently offering free Community Cricket Coaching accreditation to all volunteer coaches. 

(Formally know as 'Level 1" and at a cost of approx $100) 

 

Please note that Banyule Cricket Club requires all coaches and officials have current Working with Children Check accreditation.
