Banyule Cricket Club is excited to offer the latest and greatest introductory cricket program for boys and girls aged 5-10

Woolworths Cricket Blast!

Woolworths Cricket Blast offers the following programs for boys and girls;

Junior Blasters (for ages 5-7, replacing in2Cricket)

Master Blasters (for ages 7-10, replacing T20 Blast)

Buzzing with the energy of big bash cricket, Woolworths Cricket Blast teaches supports boys and girls in developing skills in batting, bowling, fielding and being active over a 12 week program

(8 weeks before Christmas and 4 week in the New Year) 

 while making new friends in a supportive and safe environment.

Woolworths Cricket Blast is the Official Kids Program of Cricket Australia.

Both of Cricket Blast programs (Junior & Master Blasters) run every Saturday morning commencing October 27th and running until December 22nd.

We break for 4-weeks over the Christmas period before resuming on February 2nd and finally concluding on February 23rd.

Please note;

Junior Blasters sessions commence at 9.00am sharp and run until 10.00am.

Master Blaster sessions commence at 9am and run until 10.30am

We strongly recommend Master Blasters for any child under 10 years of age who has not previously participated in an organised cricket program. This policy has been developed with a child's safety and cricket development in mind.

Coaching and Umpiring

Our T20 Blast Program only operates thanks to the support of parents and volunteers. On-field help with scoring, umpiring and coaching in our Skill Zone is always very welcome.

Cricket Australia are currently offering free Community Cricket Coaching accreditation to all volunteer coaches. 

(Formally know as 'Level 1" and at a cost of approx $100) 

Please note that Banyule CC requires all parent coaches and helpers have current Working with Children Check accreditation.
